PLANO MATERNITY & NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER
Luxury maternity and newborn photography for Plano families, in a private Mesquite studio. Couture gowns, optional hair and makeup, guided posing.
Plano is the closest of the northern suburbs to my studio, and it's where a lot of my repeat families live. They came for maternity, came back for the newborn session, and then turned up again two years later for a mommy-and-me.
I'm Jenifer, owner of Luna's Photography. I photograph maternity, newborn, motherhood and portrait sessions from a private studio in Mesquite, and I've been doing it for over six years.
Getting here from Plano
US-75 south to I-635 east. Of all the cities I regularly photograph, Plano is the shortest run to the studio, which makes it practical to do a maternity session and a newborn session a few weeks apart without either one feeling like an expedition.
Sessions are indoors year-round, so summer heat and winter storms don't move your date.
If you're delivering in Plano
The newborn window is six to fourteen days old. Babies sleep deeply and curl naturally then, and they stop doing both quite quickly afterwards, so I ask Plano families to book during pregnancy.
Most of the Plano babies I photograph are delivered at Texas Health Plano or Medical City Plano. Give me your due date and I'll reserve a provisional window instead of a fixed appointment.

The studio's couture maternity gown collection, available to you at no extra cost, with nothing to buy and nothing to return. Professional hair and makeup as an add-on. Guided posing from the first frame to the last. All newborn wraps, outfits and props provided.
Partners, siblings and grandparents are welcome in the session.
Plano questions I get asked
Can we come after work? Studio hours run Monday to Friday 8 to 5, and Saturday 8 to 12. Saturdays go first, so book those early.
How long does a newborn session take? Two to three hours. That sounds long, and it is. Most of it is feeding, soothing and letting the baby settle. Rushing a newborn session is how you get a crying baby and no photographs.
Do you photograph siblings too? Yes. Bringing a toddler is normal and I plan for it. We photograph the sibling shots early, while they still have patience.
